Today’s post is not only late, but a bit of a drive by. I’ve been working hard these last few weeks to really get a handle on the best way to utilize social media in marketing. To that end, I joined JilleySue’s Social Super Group Ultimate MasterMind group. She’s zany and fun and after floundering around a bit, I think I’m starting to catch on. The program is cost effective and you can join her free Facebook group to get a taste of the program.
Lesson 1: If you want to stand out, you have to look different
Wanna stand out in a crowd? Wear red.
That’s oversimplified, but the basic idea here is that social media is so flooded with images and sales posts already that you do yourself NO FAVORS by borrowing and reposting the same stuff everyone else is posting. People have already seen and filed that information and they have no reason to give your stuff a second look.
If you want to make sales, if you want to book parties and sponsor new consultants, you have to sell YOU.
You are unique. Show off that uniqueness.
To that end, I’ve been laboring away at my own social media graphics which I hope to share with you Wednesday. In the meantime, enjoy a little motivational Monday and go be awesome.
